Version 1.0 · Effective date: 12 October 2026
This policy explains how ASMR Market, operated by data broker s.r.o., uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. For more about personal data, see the privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar feature that keeps data in your browser without sending it to our servers with every request.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the site to work, for example to keep you signed in, protect forms and remember your cookie choice. They do not require consent.
- asmr-market-session – keeps your session, sign-in, cart and checkout working. Duration: 2 hours after your last activity.
- XSRF-TOKEN – protects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery. Duration: 2 hours after your last activity.
- remember_web_* – keeps you signed in between visits. Duration: until you sign out, at most 400 days.
- asmr_consent – remembers your cookie choice ("necessary" or "analytics"). Duration: 12 months.
- asmr_ref – set only when you arrive through a creator's own link (
?ref=). It remembers which creator referred you, so that creator receives a higher royalty if you buy. It is not used for tracking or advertising. Duration: 30 days. - Stripe cookies (for example
__stripe_midand__stripe_sid) – set by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. during checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Duration: set by Stripe, up to 1 year.
Player preferences (local storage)
The audio player stores your volume and your sleep-fade preference in your browser's local storage (keys starting with asmr.). This is strictly functional: the data stays on your device, is never sent to us and is only used to remember your choices. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd., to understand how people use the site, so we can improve it. We use Google Consent Mode with all advertising signals denied, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.
- _ga – distinguishes visitors. Duration: up to 2 years.
- _ga_* – keeps the state of a visit. Duration: up to 2 years.
Visitors from the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland: analytics run only with your consent. Until you click "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner or turn analytics on in the cookie settings, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set. If we cannot determine where you are visiting from, we treat you the same way and ask for consent.
Visitors from other regions: you do not see the cookie banner, and analytics may run when you visit. You can opt out at any time by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, or by installing Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Changing your consent
If you visit from the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a small banner lets you choose "Accept analytics" or "Only necessary" on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. If you withdraw consent, we stop analytics and delete the analytics cookies we can reach. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing.
Everyone can also block or delete cookies in their browser settings, but the site may not work properly without strictly necessary cookies.
Changes
We update this policy when we change the cookies we use. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
