Version 1.0 · Effective date: 12 October 2026
ASMR Market is a calm, strictly SFW place for relaxation, sleep and focus. These guidelines apply to everything on the site: sounds, videos, covers, titles, descriptions, shop pages, Circle posts, custom requests and messages. They apply to creators and listeners alike and form part of our Terms of Sale and the creator agreement.
Welcome
- Whispering, soft spoken and no talking
- Tapping, crinkles, brushing and ambience
- Calm roleplays and sleep stories
- Sound packs you recorded yourself
- Custom recordings for listeners
Not allowed
- Sexual or fetish content of any kind, including suggestive titles, covers or descriptions
- AI voices presented as human
- Audio you do not own or have no licence for
- Content involving, targeting or sexualising minors
- Sudden loud sounds marked as calm or sleep-safe
- Impersonating real people, or using someone's voice without their consent
- Harassment, hate, violence, and dangerous medical claims
- Anything else that is illegal in the EU or the Czech Republic
ASMR can help people relax, but it is not a medical treatment. Do not claim that a sound cures, treats or replaces medical care for any condition.
AI and the Verified human badge
ASMR Market is built around human-made work. AI-generated or AI-cloned voices or sounds must never be presented as recorded by a human. If a work uses AI-generated elements, say so clearly in the description.
The Verified human badge is given to artists who complete an ID check and upload a short behind-the-scenes clip showing them recording. The clip is used for verification only and deleted after review. Lending your badge to someone else, or using it on work that is not yours, leads to removal of the badge and the shop.
Sudden and loud sounds
Many people listen while falling asleep. If a recording contains sudden or loud sounds, it must be tagged as such. The sleep-safe tag may only be used when the recording has none.
Accurate titles, covers and tags
Titles, covers, descriptions, lengths and tags must honestly describe the work. Use triggers that are actually in the recording, and covers that are calm and SFW. Do not use other artists' names, artwork or trademarks to attract listeners.
Moderation
A new creator's first 3 items are reviewed manually before they go live. After that, we carry out spot checks and review every report we receive. Some checks are automated, for example a comparison of uploaded files with existing ones to flag possible duplicates; a person always reviews a flag before any action is taken. We may remove items, restrict visibility, remove badges, hold payouts, or suspend or close shops and accounts that break these guidelines. We act in a diligent, objective and proportionate way, with due regard to the rights and interests of everyone involved.
Reporting content (notice and action)
Anyone can tell us about content they believe is illegal or breaks these guidelines, whether or not they have an account. Use the report form and include:
- the exact URL of the content;
- the reason for your report;
- a clear explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or breaks our rules;
- your name and email address, so we can follow up (not required for reports of child sexual abuse material);
- a statement that you are submitting the notice in good faith and that the information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
We confirm receipt, review notices in a timely, diligent and objective manner, and tell you what we decided and how you can seek redress. If we become aware of information giving rise to a suspicion that a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of a person has taken place or is likely to take place, we inform the competent authorities.
When we remove or restrict content
If we remove, disable, demote or restrict content or an account, or suspend payouts, we send the affected person a statement of reasons. It explains what action we took and its scope and duration, why we took it, the facts and circumstances we relied on, the legal or contractual basis (including which guideline was broken), whether automated tools were involved, and how to appeal.
Appeals
If you disagree with a decision, about your own content or account or about a report you made, you can appeal free of charge through contact or at [email protected] within six months of the decision. Tell us which decision you are appealing and why. A person who was not involved in the original decision reviews the appeal, we reverse the decision without undue delay if the appeal is justified, and we tell you the outcome. You may also refer the dispute to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Article 21 of the EU Digital Services Act, or go to court.
Copyright notices
If you believe your work is being sold or used on ASMR Market without permission, send a notice through the copyright report form. Identify the original work, the infringing URL, your contact details, and confirm that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them, that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized, and that the information is accurate. These notices also serve as DMCA notices.
If your content was removed after a copyright notice and you believe this was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice through the same form, explaining why you have the right to use the work. We may forward it to the person who sent the original notice.
Repeat infringers and misuse
We terminate the shops and accounts of creators who repeatedly infringe copyright or seriously or repeatedly break these guidelines. After a prior warning, we may also suspend, for a reasonable period, accounts that frequently provide manifestly illegal content, and stop processing reports from people who frequently submit manifestly unfounded notices or appeals.
Contact point for authorities and users
Our single point of contact for authorities of the EU member states, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Article 11 of the Digital Services Act), and for users of ASMR Market (Article 12), is [email protected]. You can communicate with us in English and Czech. Users can also reach us through the contact form.
