This policy explains when you can get a refund for purchases on ASMR Market. It forms part of the Terms of Sale. Purchases are sold by data broker s.r.o.. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Digital content is delivered immediately
Everything you buy is available in your library straight after payment. At checkout you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal. Supply begins as soon as the item is in your library, so purchases cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind, whether or not you have played them. Every sound has a free 60 second preview so you can check it before buying. See section 7 of the Terms of Sale.
When we refund
We refund a purchase when:
- The file is defective. It will not play, is corrupted or is incomplete, and we cannot fix it by providing a working file within a reasonable time.
- It is materially not as described. For example, a sound marked sleep-safe contains untagged sudden loud sounds, or the length is significantly different from what was shown.
- You bought the same thing twice by accident. A duplicate purchase of the same item with the same licence, reported within 14 days.
- The charge was not authorized by you. For example, someone used your card or account without permission.
- A custom recording is late. If it is not delivered within 3 days after the agreed date, you can cancel it from the request page for a full refund.
- You withdraw in time. Where you still have a right of withdrawal, for example from an unspent credit top up or a Circle membership you have not used yet, as described in the Terms of Sale.
Defects can be reported throughout the period during which we are responsible for them (see section 12 of the Terms of Sale), not only within 14 days.
How to ask for a refund

- Include your order number, the item and a short description of the problem.
- We confirm receipt and decide on complaints about defects within 30 days at the latest. Most requests are handled much faster.
Approved refunds are paid without undue delay, and refunds after a withdrawal within 14 days, to your original payment method. Purchases paid with credit are refunded to your credit balance. When a refund is issued, the item and its licence are removed from your library.
Custom requests
Before you pay, you can cancel a request free of charge. After you pay, the recording is made to your specifications, so it cannot be cancelled simply because you changed your mind. If the recording is late, defective or does not match what was agreed, you can cancel it when it is overdue or open a dispute from the request page, and our team will decide on completion or a refund.
Circle memberships
You can cancel a Circle membership at any time in one click from your library. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give partial refunds for the current period, except where the law requires it or you withdraw from a new membership in time. If you were charged after cancelling, or charged twice, contact us and we will put it right.
Prepaid credit
A credit top up can be cancelled and refunded within 14 days if you have not spent credit since that top up (use "Cancel top up" on your credit page). Otherwise credit is not refunded or paid out. Bonus credit has no cash value. If you delete your account, any remaining credit is forfeited.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, please contact us first. We can usually solve the problem faster than a bank dispute. If you open a chargeback, we respond to your bank with the order details and evidence of delivery. While a chargeback is open, we may suspend access to the disputed item. Chargebacks found to be unjustified may lead to account restrictions.
What happens for the artist
Artists receive a royalty from each sale. When a sale is refunded or reversed through a chargeback, the artist's royalty for that sale is reversed too. Royalties are held for 14 days before payout to allow for this.
